Justin Audibert’s directorial debut at Chichester Theatre (as Artistic Director) in 2024, The Caretaker, by Harold Pinter, brought together the incredible acting talents of Ian McDiarmid (of Star Wars’ Emperor fame), Adam Gillen (ITV’s Benidorm and NT’s Amadeus) and Jack Riddiford (Jerusalem).
Jonathan wrote a score for cello and piano/keyboard (recorded by Principle Cellist of the CBSO, Eduardo Vassallo, with Jonathan on keys) mostly for the scene transitions. One memorable underscore moment, however, lasted nearly nine-minutes under the mesmerising monologue delivered by Adam Gillen (Aston) at the end of Act 2.
